About Sherrie Quander

Her lifelong love of people has inspired Sherrie Quander to envision a world where each individual lives their life from their “authentic self.” Each of us comes into the world with special interests, gifts and talents. Sherrie is inspired by the joy and enthusiasm in the lives of people who honor all that they are. As part of her own growth process Sherrie has observed the joy and success of those individuals who possess a strong personal spiritual foundation, excellent leadership skills and an interest in creative self-discovery. As a result she has made her life vision “to inspire all those on their path to spiritual and creative self discovery.” 

Sherrie’s enthusiasm for living life to the fullest inspires her to support all those she comes in contact with to search out, acknowledge and accept their best personal qualities and attributes. She has taken her 25+ years of experience as a corporate human resource director and independent consultant and developed a program entitled Heart Centered Leadership.  In the program participants learn to identify steps to becoming a supportive contributing team member, uncover more effective communication skills, investigate qualities and laws of leadership, and create a succinct personal vision statement.  It is Sherrie’s personal philosophy that as we live our dreams we become an inspiration for others to seek out and live their best life. 

Prior to dedicating her creative energies toward developing the Heart Centered Living program Sherrie established herself as a dynamic voice among those bringing forth a new paradigm of leadership in the world. Her programs include co-developing an Emergent Leadership program which focused on providing training in leadership skills and human resource skills to pre-school owners, directors and teachers throughout California. These materials pinpoint targeted solutions for federally funded early childhood education programs, statewide professional early childhood organizations as well as individual independent pre-schools. Sherrie has authored articles on leadership which have appeared in the statewide trade magazines of early childhood professional organizations. 

As a licensed minister through Religious Science International, Sherrie has taken leadership programs to churches to support them in developing more effective boards of trustees as well as training the church leadership to nurture and support more effective volunteer teams. 

Sherrie was recently accepted for an exclusive Women In Broadcast Media training program which expands opportunities for women in media as guided by author and creative coach Marsh Engle. 

Sherrie’s years in the entertainment industry have afforded her opportunities to work with such companies as The Walt Disney Company, Los Angeles independent television station KCAL-9, Columbia Pictures Television and Embassy Television in the capacities of human resource director, consultant and system analyst, media relations representative, sitcom co-producer, professional actor, and singer. 

Sherrie received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and theater arts from Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio, enjoys the distinction of being a member of the oldest African American family on record in the United States, and when not traveling makes her home in Los Angeles, California.

Career Experience

Well-known for her expertise in expanding the inner dynamics of positive collaboration in the work place, Sherrie Quander supports men and women in becoming more effective and unique contributors through “heart-centered” leadership skills. Sherrie uses her depth of knowledge as a trainer, human resource consultant, public speaker and entertainer to facilitate workshops and seminars where participants lean how to utilize effective leadership skills through inspiration, compassion, communication and commitment.

Founder Indelible Grace Ministries: As human beings we are always in partnership with one another working together for a common goal. Sherrie has created a program entitled Heart Centered Leadership which provides tools to support each participant in seeing and perpetuating the highest and best in themselves as well as others with whom they are in partnership, both in business as well as in their personal life.

As a motivational teacher, minister, life coach, spiritual counselor and singer, Sherrie’s focus is on inspiring each individual to stretch farther to discover more of their authentic self. The authentic self is the expression of the gifts and talents within each of us which we bring into the world to share. Through her ability to recognize the best in others, draw out hidden desires and talents, and keep people focused on their true potential, she captures the respect of her audiences, students and colleagues.

Staff Development Trainer: During her time as co-owner of Human Potential Factory, Sherrie co-wrote and facilitated an Emergent Leadership program which provided partnership building, comprehension of communication styles, effective leadership and supervisory skill building, and basic human resource documentation. The organizations that participated in this training program were California Headstart programs Neighborhood House and Community Development Institute (CDI), as well as Amgen Pharmaceuticals Bright Horizon’s early childhood education program. Workshops were also facilitated at conventions for the Professional Association for Childhood Education (PACE), California Child Development Administrators Association (CCDAA) and Orange County Association for the Education of Young Children (OCAEYC).  In addition, there were several religious organizations that took advantage of this program to gain better partnership building skills for their boards of trustees and volunteer teams.

Human Resource Director/Consultant: As corporate human resource director and consultant, Sherrie has supervised a department of twelve employees, provided recruitment services, employee relations and development, employee benefit enrollment and maintenance, management training, execution of employee performance evaluations and wrote policy and procedure manuals. She was also a member of  the site team for a major entertainment corporation as it engaged in a large scale implementation of a new enterprise resource planning system, SAP.   The companies which engaged her services included The Walt Disney Company, Los Angeles independent television station KCAL-9, Jim Preminger Agency, Columbia Pictures Television and Embassy Television.

Staff Minister: As a staff minister at the Granada Hills Church of Religious Science, Sherrie maintains her practitioner’s license, is a speaker and facilitator for weekly services and maintained a seat on the Board of Trustees for the past eight years, the last of which she was President. Sherrie is an instructor of Religious Science International Science of Mind classes, contributes her musical talent as a singer each week, and is active in the community as a representative to the clergy counsel of the local police department and hospital.

Talk Show Host: As a senior in high school Sherrie began her career in television in Washington, D.C. as a member of a local weekly spiritual talk show. Her career in show business continued in California as a co-host of cable talk show “Full Esteem Head”, a co-producer of television sitcoms for Embassy Television, an actress in commercials, television, movies, industrial films, and also on the stage.
